This comprehensive training program equips Masters and Deck Officers with the knowledge and skills required for safe and compliant navigation in ice‑covered waters. Developed in full alignment with SOLAS, the IMO Polar Code, and STCW, the course covers both regulatory and operational aspects of polar navigation.
Participants will learn to:

Apply Polar Code requirements for voyage planning and risk assessment.

Identify ice types, concentrations, and hazards such as ridges, growlers, and icebergs.

Execute safe maneuvering techniques and emergency procedures in ice conditions.
